Many Voices Project

In the summer of 2020, the Cultivating Success Fund was formed. To celebrate the launch of our fund, we partnered with the Westerville Education Foundation to provide our first grant in support of their Many Voices Project. According to the Westerville Education Foundation, the purpose of this project is to expand classroom libraries with the goal of promoting discussions about "racial and social diversity and providing students access to books representative of contemporary families and inclusive of culture, history, and diverse perspectives."

"Diverse collections, in this context, are defined as books with protagonists and experiences that feature underrepresented ethnicities, disabilities, cultural or religious backgrounds, gender nonconformity, or LGBTQIA+ orientations." - Westerville Education Foundation

Many of the advisors of the fund graduated from high school at Westerville North High School, so we wanted to kick off our fund by returning to our roots. We are excited to be able to give back to our community we grew up in.
